3. Bots, crawlers, and automated traffic

We filter automated traffic. Requests identified as bots, crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers, or link previewers, including search engine crawlers and social crawlers such as Meta’s, are not shown the cookie notice and are excluded from our analytics and advertising measurement wherever our providers support it. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, applies bot management at the network edge and may set a strictly necessary security cookie to distinguish humans from automated clients.

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work.
  • Opt out of ad personalization in your Meta account settings, or use your device’s tracking controls.

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies, including your cookie preference, last up to 180 days unless you delete them sooner.
